What law did Lawrence and Lefebvre violate?
For those of you who asked what Neteller founders and former directors Lawrence and Lefebvre were charged with, here are the specifics:
They are charged with violating Title 18 Section 1956 (a) (2) (A).
Section 1956 is the section on "Laundering of monetary instruments")
"Whoever transports, transmits, or transfers, or attempts to transport, transmit, or transfer a monetary instrument or funds from a place in the United States to or through a place outside the United States or to a place in the United States from or through a place outside the United States with the intent to promote the carrying on of specified unlawful activity."
The unlawful activities are violations of the 1961 Wire Act, which deals with the illegality of sports book operations. It does not speak to poker, although it’s clear that these arrests and Neteller’s subsequent pull back from the US market deals a strong blow to the online poker industry too.

Since these arrests and the continuiois hypocritcal actions of the thieves elected to office by the idiots that elect them, (PT Barnum once said ,"There's a sucker born every minute"..just go look @ the line of people @ polling stations...sheep), Me, my wife and son, will be moving out of this country.(My sons suggestion after they shipped the law through w/ the Port Security Law.) For 12 yrs old, this kid is beyond his years on common sense and knowing bs when he see's it. When you all realize "passive" actions dont work and trying to play by their rules doesn't either, maybe ya'all will come to the same conclussion that our founding fathers did when they realized we needed to break away from the tyrany of jolly ole' England, and I will be there on the front lines when someone gets some backbone. ( Mexico figured out what to do, Bum rush 'um). @ 47, I have never voted and learned the political process from my father, who was a prominent resort operator in Vegas(Home Town),Hawaii and Florida. My dad was before various state legislators and can count various state govenors as friends....And I used to hear the same story; Give them some crumbs and we'll keep the cake.... This Neteller thing was just the straw that broke the camels back after 25 plus years of watching this Machine 'YOU ALL' created rip folks off left and right...Here's the funny thing about "The Christian Right"...I'm one of them. As my pastors learned more about poker and me, and then I went to them what they thought they said that Its comparable to me playing the stock market and that I'm obviosly wise w/ my finances, NEVER mix personal/family/business finances w/poker acct. I take 5% from months earnings and that goes to poker acct. Ive lost it twice in 20yrs and have been blessed the past 9 yrs....Anyway....Dont blame the Christian right. Blame some greedy lobbists and poloticians using Christ and moral issue. They'll get whats coming to them come judgement day...." But Christ, We did this and that in your Name.!!
